Chalet Eugenia is a truly magnificent building that has been beautifully furnished and lovingly maintained. It was built by Baroness Thyssen-Bornemisza in the resort’s early years and has remained the winter residence of the same family ever since.

It is located in a prime position in the village, only a two minute chauffeured drive from the restaurants, bars and lifts. It is also extremely private with its own driveway and several acres of open space between it and the nearest chalets to the south.

The location makes it ideal for families, with a beginner’s piste on the doorstep which is easily visible from the chalet, allowing parents to relax indoors whilst their children ski or play in the snow.

The chalet offers six individually designed ensuite bedrooms set over four floors, sleeping up to twelve guests. Most rooms have their own balconies with fabulous southerly views of the impressive Gotschna. There are two further bedrooms sleeping up to three additional guests, perfect for children should you wish.

The main drawing room with its central pillared fireplace is the focus of the chalet which also boasts a stunning dining room and panelled study. An intimate second dining room is equipped with the original wood-fired oven in which the chef will prepare many of the region’s special dishes.
