The property
Indiana Lodge is situated amongst the trees on the exclusive ‘Dou du Pont’ estate, overlooking the centre of the village.
In 2003, the Evening Standard rated it as one of the ‘Season′s most sought-after Ski Lodges’. Outside the living room is a delightful wrap-around terrace and each one of the bedrooms and bathrooms has been individually themed to combine traditional craftsmanship with cool contemporary styling. Complimenting the chalet is a sauna and outdoor hot tub, and all the usual mod cons, including widescreen DVD television with surround sound and boot warmers in the ski room for a pleasurable experience in the morning. The more adventurous and competent skiers can even ski through the forest into and from the hot tub area.
For your comfort and convenience, ski hire and boot fitting is available in the chalet. From Indiana it is only a few minutes downhill walk to both the town and the piste. The Mérishuttle service ensures rapid transfer to and from the piste throughout the day.
I have been skiing in Meribel for years and have stayed in many chalets, but this particular holiday was one of the best so far. The children loved the it, as did we, and the service was spot on for our group.
