Méribel Luxury Chalets and Hotels
The charming town of Méribel has its roots back in the late 1930s when it was envisioned and created by Scotsman, Colonel Peter Lindsey. Located in the heart of the Three Valleys, this was one of the first major resorts in the area. Today, it is a favourite destination for British skiers due to its stunning natural surroundings and a setting full of Alpine charm and hospitality.

Adding to its popularity is the fact that Méribel is now seen as the home of catered chalet holidays. In fact, the first chalets were built while Peter Lindsay was initially developing the resort before World War Two. The amount of accommodation has expanded over time with a vast range of chalets and hotels available in the present day.

The skiing here is fantastic as well. Locally, there are ski runs of all grades plus two ski parks and lots of off-piste action. A number of pistes even wind their way through the village – a breathtaking sight when illuminated at night. Méribel also has connections to nearby resorts such as Courchevel, Les Menuires, St. Martin de Belleville, and La Tania. Finally there is plenty to do off the slopes including a variety of restaurants, frequent live music and a wide range of other activities.
