Grand Hotel Zermatterhof ***** Zermatt, Switzerland
What we love
A grand hotel right in the centre of Zermatt. The Mont Cervins' modern touches and spacious rooms seamlessly merge with the traditional Alpine charm that we love.
Setting the scene
The Mont Cervin Palace, a member of the “Leading Hotels of the World” and the “Swiss Deluxe Hotels”, has been accommodating superior guests from all over the world since 1851. Experience the finest Swiss hotel tradition combined with sincere hospitality.
Situated in the heart of Zermatt, the hotel boasts an attractive southern façade and a roof with numerous turrets. The red horse-drawn carriage is a popular photographic motif and awaits you at the station in Zermatt.
The hotel has 150 rooms spread over four different buildings. These are connected to each other and offer a multitude of individually and stylishly appointed rooms and suites. The hotel's pool and the 1,700 sqm wellness and spa area is one of the most prestigious in the Alps.
The Mont Cervin Palace is exemplary for childcare. Guests of the Mont Cervin benefit from the Mini Cervin Kids Club which provide a children's table where a buffet is served at 6pm. There is also a children's pool and play room in the spa area.
Rooms and Suites
Most of the 'Alpine rooms' are south-facing, with a balcony or patio and views of the Matterhorn. Some of the junior suites and suites come with a Jacuzzi and an open fireplace. The exclusive suites on the 6th floor offer breathtaking views across the village to the Matterhorn.
The Residence consists of 'Alpine family rooms' which include a kitchenette and their own sauna. The Residence is connected to the hotel but situated across the road with their own entrance.
The Mont Cervin Palace is also connected to Le Petit Cervin by an underground corridor. Le Petit Cervin has its own restaurant, reception and entrance and like the Residence, guests here can use any of the facilities of the Mont Cervin Palace.
The rooms and suites vary in size, location and amenities. But they all have one thing in common: they are all tastefully appointed, quietly inviting and feature wireless LAN, pay-TV and direct Internet access.
Spa and Wellness
Indulge in some time off and revitalise yourself. Enjoy the clean mountain air while relaxing in the warm waters of the outdoor pool. The Mont Cervin Palace also offers an indoor pool, childrens pool, Jacuzzis, saunas, solarium, ice grotto, hammam and fitness centre. There are also massages, facial and body treatments available using high quality products for better well-being and long lasting relaxation.
