Situated 2hrs west of Denver, the resort of Breckenridge sits at 9,600ft / 2,900 metres above sea level making it one of the highest resorts in the Rocky Mountains. The town itself is a traditional old mining town, full of character and charm, with a great range of shops, restaurants and bars including the Breckenridge Brewery with it's award-winning beers! This is real cowboy country with swinging saloon doors you expect to see only in the movies. Made up of 4 mountains (Peak 7, 8, 9 & 10) the resort caters perfectly for all levels of skier. From the perfectly manicured tree lined blue runs on Peak 7, to the more challenging double black diamond runs in the Horseshoe bowl, up above peak 8. With the nearby resorts of Keystone, Vail, Beaver Creek and Arapahoe Basin on your doorstep (and on your ski pass), there is certainly no chance of you getting bored!
