Breckenridge, Colorado

United States

The destination

At the Oxford Ski Company, we are proud to offer luxurious hotels and chalets in Breckenridge, Colorado, a small and charming old mining town. From the traditional American main street, to lively saloons with craft beer and  dancing, it's a unique resort that's got a lot going on both on and off the slopes.

Perched at one of the highest spots on the Rocky Mountains, Breckenridge has four mountain peaks, with dozens of trails to suit all levels of skiing ability. It truly is a great spot for mixed ability groups, with plenty of gentle runs around the bottom of peak 8 and 9, and several black diamond runs at the summit of peaks 7 and 8 which will challenge even the experts. There's a thick powder on the slopes from around November until April, with a ski elevation of 2926 to 3963 metres with breathtaking views of the surrounding Rockies. Breckenridge has an enviable location, just a two hour drive from Denver, and is close to the famous resorts of Keystone, Beaver Creek, the Araphoe Basin, and Vail, making it the perfect spot to get as much time on the slopes as possible.

There's a lively après-ski scene in Breckenridge, with the Cowboy themed saloons, open fireplaces, and plenty of locally brewed craft beers on tap. The quaint downtown area is full of old-fashioned shop fronts where you can browse boutiques or stop for a bite at one of the rustic restaurants.
