We are extremely proud to announce a brand new chalet for us here at The Oxford Ski Company. Not only that, but the first EVER chalet we have added to our books in the beautiful and tucked away resort of Kitzbuhel, Austria. Chalet Weiss Spa, is a stunning property in an exclusive location of this very pretty Austrian town. The historical Kitzbuhel is full of traditional architecture, cobbled streets (oozing charm) and providing a quiet and calm center, since cars are banned in this part of the town. A church dating back to the 14th century and the world’s highest elevated cable car system (400m above ground) are just some of Kitzbuhel’s many highlights. With a vast ski terrain suitable for beginners right through to seasoned enthusiasts, it also fits the bill as an Alpine destination of distinction.
Chalet Weiss Spa is one of those chalets that no sooner than you step through the front door, you’ll start trying to find any excuse to stay for longer! Not only is it in one of (in our opinion) the most fantastic locations, but it also offers sumptuous luxury and comfort at every turn. Sleeping 14 people and spread over five floors, there’s a true sense of space and calm throughout. All seven rooms are en-suite with either showers or baths, all fitted to the highest specification with TVs and two bedrooms with terrace access.
The open plan living space has double height ceilings, continuing the sense of space and light, plenty of cosy sofas for relaxing and regaling stories about the day’s highlights on the mountain and a large open fire to nestle down next to as the night draws in.
And last, but definitely not least, we of course need to discuss the spa area; Chalet Weiss Spa has not been given its name for nothing! Two of the five floors are dedicated to wellness and relaxation; with a 15m swimming pool, hammam, massage room and sauna. Then on the lower floor you will find a well-equipped gym and a yoga space to stretch out tired ski legs. All these facilities aimed to help soothe and relax after a day on the mountain, or just for spending the whole day in, never leaving the chalet…
