Why Heli skiing?
With dedicated helicopters, expert guides, and miles of endless pristine powder runs, it is no wonder heli skiing is widely regarded as the very pinnacle of skiing experiences. With no crowds, you and your companions can spend days hunting down the very best un-tracked fields of fresh powder just waiting to be explored.
Forget queuing for the ski lifts, simply climb into your helicopter before being whisked across the valleys in search of the freshest powder. Depending on location and your personal preference, you can expect to ski between 6 and 14 runs in a day before retiring to your ski lodge or hotel. And rest assured, each destination offers something different; whether you are a first time heli skier or expert, we can help you choose the most suitable destination and terrain.

Canada
Where heli skiing was born in 1965 and still one of the best countries in the world for heli skiing. It has been estimated that there are over a million hectares of skiable terrain, all of which is accessible when you have a helicopter at your disposal! Combine the almost endless skiing opportunities with the 65 feet of perfect, dry snow which falls each season and it quickly becomes apparent why Canada is such a popular destination. We have partnered with CMH who are the most experienced heli -ski operator on the planet and as such are well positioned to ensure you get the most out of your trip.
Alaska
Famed for its steep skiing with some runs topping over 5,000 feet, Alaska is where experienced skiers head. Boasting a stable maritime snowpack, Alaska’s incredible terrain is characterised by couloirs and ‘spines’. With thousands of square miles on offer and regular snowfall throughout the season it won’t be difficult to find pristine runs. We can organise trips from Girdwood (which has the added bonus of cat skiing as a backup should the weather be unflyable) and Tordrillo Mountain Lodge, which offers you a more remote experience.
Iceland
The land of the midnight sun and home to steep couloirs and long smooth descents set in 1,500 square miles of pristine terrain, the Troll Peninsula is our chosen destination for heli skiing in Iceland. Home to majestic peaks and far reaching vistas you will be able to make the most of extended daylight hours, allowing you more time to rack up the vertical. Summit heights can reach 1,500 metres which might not sound like much but the top-to-bottom nature of the Icelandic terrain allows for exceptionally long runs unlike any you will experience in many other destinations.
Where to Stay?
After an active and energetic day it is important to be able to head back to luxurious accommodation to relax and rejuvenate before heading back out into the mountains. Location dependent, you will stay in luxury chalets suitable for groups or high-end hotels with excellent amenities. All accommodation is specifically tailored to the needs of heli skiing guests and you will be well looked after by staff, typically including an experienced chef, house manager and lodge/hotel staff.
What is Included?
Each holiday is tailor-made to your exact requirements. Our heli ski specialists will plan the perfect trip for you. However, typically your trip will include a guaranteed amount of skiing, all accommodation and food, ground transfers, use of skis and safety gear and the services of a certified guide.
