Fusing world-class heli skiing with the classic ski town experience, CMH Revelstoke is located in the ‘deep snow capital’ of western Canada. Perfect for shorter trips and those who like to stay connected with the outside world, Revelstoke offers great ski variety and a lively après scene.
The Skiing
Revelstoke has access to one of CMH’s largest tenures which is set between the Selkirk and Monashee mountain ranges and offers extensive tree skiing as well as big, open, alpine terrain. Its great size and quick accessibility ensures good skiing even in inclement weather and the resort skiing is a good back up in the rare cases the helicopter can’t fly. Revelstoke has 1,333 sq km of skiable terrain and an average annual snowfall of 18 metres.
The Property
Based in the centre of Revelstoke town, accommodation is in the family run Regent Hotel, which is 100% occupied by heli skiing guests during the winter. The Regent is a lovely hotel with large comfortable rooms - each with en-suite bathrooms with baths and showers – and can be configured as double, twin or single rooms. The busy bar is where all of the guests gather after a day in the mountains and there is often a local singer in attendance. The restaurant serves excellent fresh cooked meals and you can choose to sit on a small private table or with your ski group. Being situated downtown, there are plenty of other options for après-ski just a few steps from the hotel. There is also a stretch room for the morning stretch class and a small gym with free weights, spin bikes and a stair-master as well as an outdoor hot tub. The hotel is ski boot friendly so don’t worry about wearing your boots everywhere around the hotel.
