Almost every new luxury ski chalet coming onto the market now has a private swimming pool - and why not? They are a great place to relax after skiing, hours of fun for the kids and, when in the Alps, have a pool party!

Why? - Quite simply the best mountain vistas of any pool we have seen. The mosaic is also fantastic.

Why? - The disco lights and large fireplace, of course!

Why? - Many reasons, the DJ booth, the bar and the engraving in the wooden ceiling is a masterpiece.
CHALET EDELWEISS, COURCHEVEL 1850
Why? - Sheer size and scale....it makes some swimming pools in 5 star hotels look small!
CHALET LE COQUELICOT, COURCHEVEL 1850
Why? - Very slick design, good length for swimming and we love the relaxation area connected by a bridge over the pool.
