The alps is becoming more and more popular in the summer and visitors are also looking to do more sightseeing on winter holidays as well as skiing, therefore winter resorts across this popular mountain range are putting extra funds into their tourist attractions so that they can be developed to meet everybody's needs.
The age old Mer de Glace in Chamonix and the Glacier express are two great examples of this but are only two out of 100s of places to visit.
The newest and most talked about addition to this list of inspiring attractions is The Dachstein suspension bridge which comprises of a 100 meter long bridge with beautiful uninterrupted views of the alps followed by the fear inducing glass steps of the Stairway to nothingness which give you the sensation of floating and are not for the faint hearted. The Dachstein glacier has been a popular tourist attraction year on year with lots of visitors arriving each day to see the beautiful views and the Ice Palace however with these new additions it adds adventure to the day.
