We spend our days talking about beautiful properties and amazing skiing so it should hardly come as a surprise that in our spare time, you'll normally find us on a snowy mountain somewhere! This photo shows some of the team below the infamous Aiguille Percee (Eye of the Needle), in Val d'Isere.
We're always keen to make sure you get the most out of your skiing holiday, so here are our top recommendations for a great day in the mountains.
1.Rupert's choice - Mont Bonvin, Crans-Montana.
"Coming round the back of the Mont Bonvin (or walking to the top of it) from the Plaine Morte Glacier in Crans-Montana is a delight. The little known off-piste called Les Faverges spreads out below you descending 1,500m. Keep on eye out for bouquetins and chamois who often watch you make the descent. Just before the bottom is Restaurant Mayen de la Clure - perfect for a drink, raclette and local cured meats."
2. Neil's choice - Matterhorn, Zermatt
"This iconic mountain is awesome to look at when you're skiing around Zermatt and reminds me of Toblerone!! There is plenty of excellent skiing on piste and off-piste nearby and heliskiing is easily arranged here too. The mountain restaurants here are second to none - try some gourmet ski guiding."
3. Grace's choice - Mont Fort, Verbier
"The views from Mont Fort are amazing and the black run from the top of it is a great tick in the box! Verbier is my favourite ski area as a whole for its off-piste, itinerary runs and its restaurants. I love the restaurant Chez Dany which you can sledge down from in the evenings."
4. Karen's choice - Lake Louise, Alberta, Canada
"My favourite mountain is at Lake Louise, Canada. I love the back bowls of the resort which have some great powder skiing and you can pick your own line down. The view from the top of the mountain across to Lake Louise itself is stunning! Plus the Canadians are super friendly and the free ski "hosting" is an excellent service which means you never have to ski on your own and you get to see all of the mountain with the best conditions of the day."
5. Harriet's choice - Tour du Charvet, Val d'Isere
"There are great on piste and off piste choices on this mountain. You end up skiing right past Les Clochetons restaurant which is ideal for lunch or an après ski drink. The views of it from Chalet Le Chardon up the Manchet Valley are stunning - watching the sun hit the peak in the morning is brilliant"
