Avoriaz, France

The popular resort of Avoriaz is in the world-renowned sporting commune of Morzine. This delightful, unspoilt town is traffic-free and populated with charming horse-drawn sleighs in the winter months. The sympathetically designed resort finds itself amongst a vast area of slopes with many fantastic runs.

Celebrated for its family-friendly qualities, Avoriaz comprises mostly of ski-in/ski-out accommodation with access to 650km of skiing runs across it’s snow-blessed slopes.

Younger members of the family can enjoy hours of fun with childcare activities and the children’s slopes whilst the more adventurous of the party can head off to explore the French Morzine-Les Gets area which is easily reached by gondola.

Sainte Foy, France

Located at the foot of a mountain previously famed for it’s off-piste ski, the resort town of Sainte Foy has since been developed to cater for families of varying abilities. Locally, the pistes are great for beginner and intermediate ski enthusiasts with plenty of off-piste runs for those seeking something more advanced.

The quiet village of Sainte Foy has just a handful of bars and restaurants amongst traditional Savoyard style chalets and apartment blocks. The childcare facilities are great, occupying children aged 3 to 11 with storytelling, painting and creating keepsake activities.

Intermediates will cover all 40km of Sainte Foy’s pistes within a day so traveling to nearby Val d’Isere, Les Arcs, La Rosiere and La Plagne will provide more variety throughout your stay.
