Dining out in Verbier

Renowned for its beautiful terrain, snow sure slopes and cosmopolitan atmosphere, it may be easy to overlook another great reason to choose Verbier as your holiday destination … dining out! See below for three of our top restaurant recommendations, both on the piste and in the village.

Mountain Restaurants
• Chez Dany- Fabulous food served in a great location, the menu is both varied and delicious. The restaurant is located slightly off the piste just above Verbier, but is easily accessible for intermediate skiers. The sun terrace boasts unbeatable views of the valley below, and booking is definitely recommended. Also worth trying in the evening, the restaurant is accessible via a steep walk- bring a toboggan for a fun ride home!

Fine Dining
• Le Millenium Restaurant- Located in a quaint and picturesque hotel in the centre of the village in the direction of Medran. Perhaps best described as serving modern Asian fusion food, they offer a set menu as well as an extensive selection of ever changing specials. The cuisine is strictly seasonal and the varied and interesting menu means you are not short of choice.

Traditional Cuisine
• Le Caveau- Situated on the main square, this traditional Swiss restaurant serves Raclette or Fondue, alongside a varied selection of salads. The friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere make Le Caveau an extremely popular restaurant. Booking is essential, especially during peak season.
