The Monashees lodge is famous for epic tree-skiing in steep terrain where you can blast through powder in old growth forests by day, and relax and recoup on the rooftop hot tub by night. The lodge is built on the banks of the mighty Columbia River with epic panoramic views.
The Monashees boasts long, consistently steep tree skiing with deep, hugely reliable powder snow. As perhaps the most challenging of all the CMH areas the Monashees is recommend for experienced skiers only. The Monashees has 1487 sq km of skiable terrain and an average annual snowfall of 20 metres.

Set on the banks of the Columbia River, the Monashee lodge is the newest and largest in the CMH line-up with a stunning view over the lake and mountains (boasting probably the best rooftop hot-tub view you’ll ever find!) The lodge has a capacity of 44 guests although non-skiers can also be accommodated. Bedrooms are spacious and comfortable and configured as double, twin or single rooms. The individual bedrooms are simple with no telephones or TVs but do all have en-suite bathrooms with small baths as well as hairdryers in each room. In terms of communal areas, there’s a sociable long granite bar and a cozy living room with a large open fireplace. The high-ceilinged dining room has big windows onto the river and large communal tables for a relaxed dining experience. Other amenities include sauna, hot tub, games room, small gym and climbing wall.
