Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Ski Resort
Having previously lived in Italy, I am always excited by properties that showcase Italian excellence. Cervinia is a personal favourite resort of mine and the Hotel Valtur Cervinia will ensure that anyone that visits is treated to the best facilities and the highest levels of service.
Setting the scene
Focused on championing Italian culture and service, the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo Resort is a fantastic property that offers exceptional comfort and relaxation. Designed with warm wood and contrasting slate, the hotel combines contemporary décor with timeless furnishings to provide a truly luxurious stay.
There is no shortage of excellent facilities, with a multitude of dining options; an in-house boutique selling the best fashion brands; a spa that spans over 1,400 sqm; and Kid's Clubs for all ages, the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo offers something for the whole family to enjoy. Out on the Terrazza Cervino, guests can soak up the sun and appreciate the glorious panoramic scenery with an impressive view of the Matterhorn.
Just a short five minute walk from the town centre and ski lifts, the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo is the perfect hotel to enjoy the Breuil-Cervinia ski domain that offers a fantastic range of intermediate and advanced level skiing. There is a magic carpet lift located 50m from the ski room, which is 145m long and provides access to the red slope 16 and continues to the lifts that lead to Plan Maison or Cielo Alto. The hotel also operates a complimentary shuttle service between the hotel and the main ski lifts from 08.30 - 17.00.
Rooms and Suites
Comfort Room (20-24 sqm) with Double or Twin beds (some interconnecting room options available)
Deluxe Room (25-28 sqm) The Deluxe Rooms offer great space and extensive natural light to provide a beautiful room to stay. Some are able to accommodate an extra guest on a sofa-bed.
Junior Suite (29 sqm) In addition to a double bed, the Junior Suites offer a single sofa-bed which can accommodate an extra guest.
Suite (35-40 sqm) The Suites are able to accommodate up to three guests with a double bedroom, and double sofa-bed in the separated living area. A handful of these Suites provide magnificent Matterhorn views.
Spa and Wellness
Spanning over 1,400 sqm, the spa at the Valtur Cervinia Cristallo is one of the largest in Cervinia and provides a perfect opportunity to relax and unwind after a long day on the slopes. 800 sqm of this space is taken by the large swimming pool which is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00 and 600 sqm for the exclusive Miele Spa (open from 10:00 to 20:00). The spa path lasts one hour and includes a mini-pool with hydromassage, Turkish bath, sauna, bio sauna, ice waterfall, emotional shower, salt wall. In addition and upon request, guests can enjoy a number of massage and beauty treatments in any of the private cabins in the spa. The fully equipped gym is open daily from 10:00 to 20:00.
Please note that access to the Miele spa is subject to prior reservation and the first access is free of charge (2 accesses free of charge for those who book a stay of 7 nights). Swimming pool and gym access are included in the room rate.
Dining and Après Ski
Gargantua
Offering a wide range of dishes to suit all dietary needs, the Gargantua is a buffet-style restaurant for guests to enjoy at any meal of the day. Open for dinner only
Gou
With a focus on local products, the Gou restaurant offers an extensive menu to appease all culinary preferences and desires.
Bolla Bistro & Lounge Bar
The ideal place to enjoy a good cappuccino or an excellent Italian espresso; for snacks or a quick lunch with a wide choice of cold dishes, salads, pizza or burgers. Or for a cocktail experience, a selection of sparkling beverages and premium spirits with music and live performers.
The Fire Place Bar
Located in the lobby of the hotel, the Fire Place Bar is an ideal place to enjoy a relaxed drink or cocktail in the evenings after a day on the slopes. The bar also has a vibrant atmosphere for apres ski with in house DJ.
Valtur Executive Lounge
An exclusive area for 5* hotel guests to enjoy soft drinks, light refreshments and savoury snacks throughout the day at set times.
Family Facilities
The Valtur Cervinia Cristallo offers supervised kids clubs for children of all ages. The MiniClub is open to children aged 3 - 6, the KidsClub for those aged 7-10, the TeensClub for 11-13. Accompanying these Kids Clubs is a full programme of activities and entertainment to ensure that all guests staying at the hotel are well looked after.
