The mountains are my happy place. From the beautiful vibrant scenery in summer to the calming white peaks in winter there is no place I would rather be. Having grown up in and around the mountains I have been skiing for the majority of my life, from the American slopes to the Alps where I qualified as a ski instructor. There is nothing I love more than talking to people about resorts, hidden food gems and helping people enjoy the mountains as much as possible.
I am a skier.
Favourite resorts: Alpbach in Austria holds a special place in my heart as it was my first Ski instructor resort.
Ski seasons: Morzine, La plagne, St Anton
Favourite properties: Hotel La Bouitte, St. Martin de Belleville
Favourite lunch and après: In St Martin Les Belleville there is a little bar called L’Art B Get the lunch special and enjoy amazing classic Alpine French food that changes daily.
My tip: Don’t go full throttle on day one, ease into your time on the mountains. AND remember to always engage your core.
