Overview
Le Manoir is a luxury ski chalet in our Morzine portfolio and was built in 1790. Home to the local Notary for two centuries, this unique property has metre thick walls made out of local stone and horsehair, priceless mosaic floors, flagstone halls, towering ceilings and huge rooms throughout.
This is an unusual luxury ski chalet that has been completely stripped back and re-clad ready to welcome guests, with the aim to retain all its charm and quality whilst incorporating all modern day essentials. For example walk-in showers, roll top baths, flat screen TVs and Wifi throughout. Le Manoir is unique to Morzine and to the portfolio as a whole. Le Manoir has five bedrooms (three with extra beds in a kids’ corner) and will sleep up to 15 guests. All the bedrooms can be either twin or double and each is en suite - one of these (Room 1) has a beautiful roll top bath in the bedroom plus an en suite shower. Rooms 2 and 5 have bunk beds as well as a twin or double bed (the bunk beds are charged at half price). Room 3 has a twin or double bed and an additional single bed and Room 4 a simple twin or double with en suite shower.
Located in the very centre of Morzine, Le Manoir is just two hundred metres from the nearest piste. This makes access to the Pleney lift station very easy. There are two lounges, one of which is a more formal sitting area and one with a TV, a beautiful dining room, several fireplaces and a hot tub with a stunning view.
