Overview
Chalet L’Orchidée in Méribel is a standalone chalet ideally suited for multi‑generational families, two or three families sharing, or friends travelling together who appreciate both togetherness and space to retreat.
The chalet sleeps eight adults plus four children across five bedrooms, with flexible twin/double configurations for most rooms. Spread over four levels, the ground floor houses a well appointed ski room with boot warmers and a private laundry, alongside a games room with table football and seating—a perfect haven for kids to unwind. Two bedrooms are also on this level: a charming bunk room for four children with an en suite, and a double/twin with its own shower room and views.
The first floor is the social hub. Here you'll find the open plan kitchen, dining and living area warmed by a fireplace, with sleek alpine décor and floor to ceiling windows. This level opens onto a generous balcony with an outdoor dining table and a hot tub, affording peace and privacy in the landscape. Adjacent is a plush TV room which is ideal for parents to relax without disturbing younger guests.
Sleeping quarters dominate the second floor: three double/twin bedrooms each with en suites, two of which have private balconies and mountain views. Upstairs is a mezzanine level, accessed via stairs, adding character and altitude to the layout.
Located in peaceful Raffort Hameau, Chalet L’Orchidée offers tranquillity yet is extremely well placed being just a five minute walk to the Olympic gondola and a short drive to the village. For skiers in good snow, there’s even the possibility of skiing back via a blue slope off‑piste.
