On the contrary, this less-exclusive resort area offers access to the same world-class ski runs as its high-society sisters—and it does so at a significantly lower price point.

The numbers that were originally assigned to the Courchevel ski resorts refer to each area’s elevation above sea level. As such, ‘Courchevel’ as a blanket term refers to a series of three interconnecting luxury ski resorts rather than a single destination. An express, six-man chair lift links up the mountain to Courchevel 1650 and 1850, which makes it easy for guests staying here in the village enjoy access to the same slopes as those based higher in the Alps. In all, there are over 600 km of pistes to experience in Courchevel. With so much ground to cover, the slopes are rarely crowded—even during peak season.
