The destination
The largest mountain plateau in the Alps is where you will find Alpe di Siusi, nestled among the breath-taking scenery of the Western Dolomites. With a great selection of blue, green and red slopes, along with some challenging black runs, this is a perfect winter sports destination for skiers and snowboarders of all abilities. In addition to the wide choice of pistes, there are plenty of cross-country trails and the Alpe di Siusi Terrain Park to explore. Owing to the snowmaking facilities at the resort, snow is guaranteed throughout the season and with 60 kilometres of slopes to explore, you will have plenty to keep you occupied during the day. Advanced skiers can test their limits on one of the 4 race tracks or the high-speed course that can be found here.
If you are keen to cram in as much skiing as possible during your stay - and let’s be honest, this is what most of us feel like doing whenever we get the opportunity - you will be pleased to discover that this resort is linked to the neighbouring ski areas of Val Gardena and Sellastock, both of which boast excellent facilities and an array of slopes for the intrepid skier to explore.
If you wish to explore further afield, you can buy a ski pass that covers the entire Dolomite Superski area, in which Alpe di Siusi is located. With more than 650 pistes from which to choose, you could stay here for months and still not experience everything the area has to offer. Whichever parts of the region you wish to explore during your holiday, you will not find better accommodation than our range of luxury ski chalets in Alpe di Siusi from which to do so. If you want to brush up on your ski skills, you will find two excellent schools in the area: Alpe di Siusi and Sciliar 3000.
Your Accommodation Choices
In addition to the splendid chalets that can be found in the resort, there are numerous excellent hotels, inns and lodges catering to the many visitors that come here every year. The best place to stay will depend on your personal preferences and the size of your party but we can honestly say that you will not find better accommodation than our selection of luxury chalets. Beautifully maintained and decorated to high standards by their caring private owners, each one is in a prime location and offers easy access to the ski lifts that serve the nearby slopes.
Over the years, we have made a point of visiting Alpe di Siusi on many occasions, both to check out the standard of accommodation on offer and to see what the ski facilities were like. We are pleased to be able to report that the resort scores highly in both areas and the luxury chalets in Alpe di Siusi that you can find on our site are those that we believe represent the best the resort has to offer. We visit these properties every so often, to ensure that standards remain high, so you can rest assured that wherever you stay, it will be comfortably furnished, equipped with all mod cons and spotlessly clean. We have established an excellent reputation for providing first-class accommodation in this part of the world and it is a reputation that we guard jealously, by continuing to keep a close eye on the portfolio of properties we offer our clients.
Après Ski
Once you are done for the day, you can usually ski back to your waiting luxury accommodation, thanks to the elevation of the resort (over 1,500 metres above sea level). Here you will find a selection of friendly inns and bars, where you can relive the thrills and spills on the slopes over a refreshing drink or a hearty meal. If you really can’t get enough of the action, you can try your hand at ice skating, go on a sleigh ride or take advantage of the night skiing facilities when the slopes close for the day. Children are well catered for at Alpe di Siusi too, with regular ski tours that provide younger members of the family with the opportunity to search for the witches of Sciliar Mountain, under adult supervision.
