Best time to ski in America
The USA ski season usually runs from late November to April. The high altitudes and low temperatures perfectly preserve the heavy snowfall no matter how much sun the slopes receive.
The resorts come to life around Christmas and American holidays such as Thanksgiving or Spring Break when the locals go skiing.
The slopes will never get quite as cramped as the ones in Europe. That being said, if you would like a quieter holiday, we recommend you visit in either January or April.
