Spending several weeks or even an entire season in the Alps changes what you need from a chalet. A property that is perfect for seven nights may feel quite different after a month, when storage, workspace, laundry, everyday living and proximity to resort services become just as important as the spa or views.
Our extended-stay collection includes properties in destinations such as Val d’Isère, Lech, Méribel, Cervinia, Morzine, Courchevel and St Moritz. They are suited to families spending longer periods in the mountains, guests able to work remotely and anyone who wants the Alps to feel temporarily more like home than a holiday destination.
The commercial arrangements can also differ from normal weekly rentals, with monthly or seasonal pricing, services and availability often handled individually.

What should you look for in a long-stay chalet?
We consider how the property will actually function as a temporary home. Bedroom layout, desks and connectivity, kitchen facilities, housekeeping, wardrobes, parking and access to the village can all become more significant over a longer period.
For families, schooling and childcare arrangements may also form part of the wider planning.
Seasonal and monthly chalet rentals
Longer rentals are often negotiated differently from normal weekly stays. Pricing, inclusions, utilities, housekeeping and service levels may be agreed specifically for the duration required.

Can I rent a luxury ski chalet for a month?
Yes, selected properties accept monthly or other extended rentals. Availability and commercial terms are usually agreed individually.
Can I rent a chalet for the entire ski season?
Some owners offer seasonal rentals. These tend to be limited and should generally be explored well in advance of the winter.
Are long-stay prices cheaper than weekly rental?
Long-stay rates are normally negotiated separately rather than calculated by simply multiplying the advertised weekly price. Terms differ considerably by property and period.
Can I work remotely from a ski chalet?
Many modern chalets have strong connectivity, but anyone dependent on internet access should let us know so that we can confirm the facilities of suitable properties before booking.
