The Old Macaroni
Overview
The Old Macaroni has been restored from a traditional farmhouse and been given a beautiful and luxurious renovation with magical individuality. Delightful features include hidden rooms, uniquely designed bathrooms and bedrooms, cinema room, outdoor hot tub and a glass fronted barrel sauna with beautiful views of Morzine.
All the bedrooms include small references or allusions to a collection of the owner's favourite books. For example, there is a Harry Potter bedroom with four built in cabin beds ideal for kids to share, an Ernest Hemingway room and even a Doctor Zhivago room. The four main bedrooms are en suite with king size beds and the children's room is located on an open mezzanine. If extra space is required the spa treatment room has a further hidden double bed.
Upon entering the chalet on the ground floor, there is a superb open plan kitchen and dining space providing a really convivial atmosphere in the mornings and evenings. A small glass ceiling here provides a glimpse into the fantastic lounge on the floor above. Here, huge bi-folding doors frame stunning views of the resort and the wrap around balcony is the perfect spot to enjoy some après ski. Through a secret doorway, you will find a spacious office ideal for clients who need a peaceful working space.
The Old Macaroni is available to rent on a catered basis in the winter and also on a self-catered basis in the summer months.
