Overview
Chalet Ulysse is a luxury ski chalet in Zermatt. Depending on conditions you can ski to within 200m of the door and it is conveniently situated next to the free ski bus stop, adjacent to a children's play area and a shop in Winklematten. It takes five minutes to walk to the Klein Matterhorn ski lift and 12 minutes to the centre of the village where the main bars and restaurants are located. Offering stunning uninterrupted views of the Matterhorn and the surrounding mountains it is built in a typical alpine style and clad in weathered wood. Chalet Ulysse combines contemporary, with classical Swiss architecture.
The chalet is set out over three floors and on the top floor is a flexible double or twin bedroom with its own en suite bathroom, along with two additional double or twin bedrooms that share a separate shower room. Another double or twin bedroom is located on the main living level, accompanied by its own separate shower room for added convenience.
The final two double bedrooms are situated in an annexe, finished to the same high standard as the main chalet. Warm and inviting, these rooms share a separate bathroom, with one also enjoying access to a private terrace — perfect for a quiet morning coffee or evening retreat.
The spacious main living room has a cosy fireplace and fantastic views of the Matterhorn.
On the lower ground floor, guests will find a heated ski room equipped with boot warmers, providing secure and comfortable storage for all ski gear, along with laundry facilities and a wellness area. There is a pine wood sauna, rainfall shower, WC and relaxation area with flat-screen TV. A range of massage and beauty treatments can be booked as an extra.
