Steins is ideal for those looking for a bit of elegance and sophistication. We love the European influences on style whilst still retaining its sense of place in a North American ski resort.
Setting the scene
Named after Norwegian Olympic Gold Medal skier Stein Erikson who is behind the development of the hotel, the Stein Erikson Lodge has a lovely European style cleverly mixed with American contemporary aesthetics. The lodge is located in the Silver Lake area of Deer Valley and has an ideal ski in, ski out location. It offers sophisticated and high end luxury, and is known in the area as ′Steins′.
Each of the 68 suites and 112 guest rooms are unique in style, architecture and arrangement whilst all offering the same amenities for comfort and generous sized bathrooms. Some guest rooms include hot tubs, and suites range from one to four bedrooms complete with full kitchens. So Steins is suitable for couples looking for a romantic stay, families or larger groups.
As a Steins guest you have access to the outdoor heated pool and hot tub, as well as Utah′s only Forbes Five Star Spa with facilities to include saunas, steam rooms and plunge pools. For dining there is the hotels Glitretind Restaurant, the Troll Hellen Lounge for something a little lighter or you can take the hotels shuttle into Park City.
Rooms and Suites
180 rooms and suites in total. The rooms and suites can also be upgraded to have their own private hot tubs.
- Deluxe Bedrooms (34-65 sqm) - King or two queen rooms, some of which have a fireplace and terrace.
- Luxury Bedrooms (65 sqm) - King or two queen rooms, some of which have a fireplace and terrace.
- Luxury Suites (110 - 455 sqm) - Ranging from one to four bedrooms, with full kitchen, dining space and living area with fireplace.
- Grand suites (74 - 278 sqm) - Ranging from one to four bedrooms, all of which have spacious living area with fireplace, full kitchens and dining rooms, and offer magnificent views.
Spa and Wellness
This is Utah's only Forbes Five Star Spa, and at over 2,100 sqm it certainly has plenty to offer. With 16 treatment rooms including couples rooms with private showers, tubs and a shared relaxation suite with fireplace. The Spa Menu has been created with the skier in mind.
As a spa guest you can enjoy the separated men and women’s thermal areas with sauna, steam room, hot and cold plunge. There is also a fitness studio, various classes and outdoor heated pool.
Dining and Après Ski
Glitretind Restaurant Open for breakfast, lunch and dinner for elegant dining in a warm and welcoming atmosphere.
Troll Hallen Lounge The perfect place to lounge by the fireplace after skiing, enjoying appetizers and seasonal spirits.
Wine Cellar Home to one of the largest and varied collections in Utah. Your sommelier will assist in pairing the perfect wine with your choice of cuisine
