I fell in love with the mountains as a teenager after visiting a small alpine village in Switzerland one summer. The memories of swimming in an open air pool surrounded by the breath-taking panorama of chalets nestled in the slopes and snow-capped mountains have stuck with me all my life. Fast forward a few decades and you can still find me swimming in an open air pool in the mountains, as well as enjoying the other benefits of luxury chalets such as hot tubs and saunas.
There’s nothing better than relaxing in a luxury chalet after a day in the mountains, enjoying drinks and meals with friends and family.
I am a beginner skier.
My tip: Remember this is a holiday, take time to relax and just enjoy a slower pace.
