Known to be one of the best ski resorts in the world, this has to be a top pick.

Val d'Isère is located high in the Tarentaise Valley in the Savoie department of south-eastern France.

This luxury ski resort has maintained its architecture over the years with its wood stone and metal constructions.

Val d'Isère forms the ‘Espace Killy’ with its neighbouring resort Tignes. Espace Killy is a world-famous ski area with 300km of pistes.

One of the main attractions to this resort is the fact that it’s snow sure. You can expect to enjoy the snow all year round. And it doesn’t matter how advanced a skier you are, this resort offers an amazing selection of runs for all ski levels.

You’ll also find plenty to do in your spare time (when you’re not enjoying the slopes). There are great bars and restaurants -  including La Folie Douce, an après ski bar.

Ranking number two has to be Courchevel 1850! Standing in a class of its own this resort embodies luxury. What makes this luxury ski resort unique, is its origin. Because of this, visitors are met with an amazing experience, tailored to their needs,

You’ll also get to experience two of only eight formally recognised 6-star hotels in France. This makes the dining facilities available during your luxury ski holiday nothing short of exquisite.  You’ll also be joined by some very high-class visitors -  this is known to be where the rich and royal escape for a holiday on the slopes.

Of course, the skiing itself is enough to make anyone want to go. The runs available are incredibly well maintained and the bowl of green and blue pistes make this great for a range of ski levels, suitable even for novice skiers.

You’ll also find more challenging runs for intermediate and advanced skiers.
