Overview
La Ferme du Bois is one of the oldest farmhouses in Chamonix and also one of the valley′s most stunning properties. Offered on a self catered basis, this 400 year old luxury ski chalet is situated in the picturesque village of Les Bois - a very sought after area in Chamonix.
Sleeping up to 10 guests, the chalet is made up of five spacious bedrooms. The master suite, located on the ground floor, is approximately 18 sqm and has an en suite bathroom and a spacious feel. The slightly smaller guest master suite is approximately 15 sqm and has access to the back garden. Next to this is a smaller double bedroom, and these two bedrooms share a shower room. The fourth bedroom is rustic and has an en suite bathroom and windows facing the back garden. All bedrooms have a warm, antique feel with comfortable beds, all of which can be made up as either twins or doubles.
Upstairs you'll find the dining room with seating for up to 16 guests. This space is decorated with antique furniture and has a traditional alpine feel, plus the separate kitchen has all necessary facilities. Just up from the dining area is the vast and beautiful living room with high-beamed ceiling, panoramic windows and a huge granite fireplace. There is also a small library and snug with children′s toys and a flat-screen TV on a separate level.
Next to the spacious yet cosy living room is the fifth bedroom with its en suite bathroom. Also accessed from the living area is the sun terrace with views of both Le Dru and the Mont Blanc massif. Next to the terrace you'll find the outdoor hot tub, the perfect spot to relax and unwind after a long day of skiing.
