Designed across three floors, Nanuq has the scale to bring a large group together without ever feeling crowded. The main living space is bright and welcoming, with a wood burning fire, deep sofas and a palette of soft greens and natural timber. Floor to ceiling windows open onto wraparound balconies, drawing in the surrounding peaks and giving the apartment a wonderfully open feel.
The kitchen and dining area are equally sociable, centred around a handsome oak table for twelve. After skiing, the apartment naturally shifts into relaxation mode. Upstairs, a private hammam offers a soothing place to unwind, while the adjoining TV room and bar are made for long, unhurried evenings. A small reading nook tucked beneath the vaulted ceiling provides a quieter escape.
Seven bedrooms accommodate up to 14 guests, including a spacious master suite with its own balcony and several beautifully finished double rooms. A dedicated bunk room makes Nanuq particularly well suited to families.
But it is the setting that defines this apartment. Ski directly back to the door, collect the children from the nearby ski club, or simply step onto the balcony and watch the light move across the mountains.
