Overview
Steeped in history and oozing with style La Grande Maison comprises of the stunning six bedroom La Maison and the three bedroom owner's residence. Dating back to 1749 this renovated town house is certainly a show stopper of a chalet with jaw dropping living spaces and exquisite first class facilities and services. La Grande Maison is situated in the main square of Montriond, a quaint village with a couple of bars, a restaurant and a few shops. The bigger resort of Morzine is easily reached by car in a few minutes and the Ardent lift is just a 10 minute drive away providing easy access to the Portes du Soleil ski area.
This spacious luxury ski chalet offers something truly special. Much care has been taken to retain the beautiful features of this traditional Savoie property, but providing exceptional facilities and a modern design. La Grande Maison has eight en suite bedrooms, six of which can be made up as a super king double or a twin bedded room. The other two are fixed king double bedrooms, that have a unique boudoir adjoining them with a juliet balcony. Le boudoir feels like a decadent space with velvet and jewel upholstered seating and opulent wallpapers - offering a little haven for guests to relax and take in the elegant surroundings. The final bedroom is a bunk room sleeping up to four guests, which is ideal for the children in the group.
Everything is thought of at La Grande Maison, from the impressive spa facilities and stunning swimming pool, the extensive wine cellar, the state of the art kitchen to the large terrace with hot tub. You'll be hard pressed to want to leave the chalet to actually go skiing!
