Overview
Located in the peaceful hamlet of Le Fornet, Chalet Orso not only offers exclusivity and privacy but the most commanding 180o views across to the Solaise Summit. This is a chalet that will impress both inside and out. Occupying an enviable elevated position, only a snowball’s throw to the gondola, you are guaranteed maximum sunshine all winter long.
The vast 7m high living space is at the heart of this 520 sqm chalet, flowing seamlessly into the dining area and kitchen. The large dining table can seat up to 20 guests. If you would prefer, the kitchen can be closed off and for those wishing to escape for peace and quiet, there is an adjoining reading room. Above the living area, you will find the mezzanine, fully equipped with table football and pinball, a TV lounge, the chalet’s jukebox and well equipped bar. Nestled into the eaves, please note that this is the only floor that isn’t accessible by the chalet’s lift system.
The views continue in the five en suite bedrooms that have been designed with the surrounding landscape in mind. The master bedroom is your ultimate sanctuary, enjoying its own fireplace, dressing room and private balcony. Luxuriously finished to combine old wood, leather and stone for a contemporary Alpine atmosphere.
After a day of discovering Val d’Isere’s pistes, fantastic restaurants or array of shops, be welcomed back by Chalet Orso’s spa. Sink into the swimming pool, infinity jacuzzi, hammam and sauna or soak up those views from the 40 sqm terrace’s Norwegian bath. For those with energy still to burn there is the chalet’s gym. This is a chalet that you will certainly find hard to leave at the end of your favourite days in Val d’Isere.
For larger groups, you can book chalet Orca and Orso together by booking Les Ours Chalet to accommodate up to 27 guests.
