Overview
Chalet Snøstorm is a beautiful, contemporary ski chalet sleeping up to 12 guests, across five bedrooms. This quaint standalone chalet is situated on the edge of the cosy village of Valtournenche, at 1750m altitude. With easy access to the ski piste, just 300 metres stroll away and just a 15 minute walk into the village centre, this luxury ski retreat is in an ideal location. Also being part of the Cervina - Zermatt skiing area, there is plenty to explore during your stay at Chalet Snøstorm.
The property, with 400 sqm of spacious living quarters, is set over three floors with additional loft space. Following a Nordic style throughout, Chalet Snøstorm uses lots of natural materials with exposed wood and furnishings that blend nicely with the alpine environment.
You enter Chalet Snøstorm on the second floor, from street level. Here you will find the open plan kitchen and dining area with fantastic wooden table for enjoying lazy morning breakfasts or lavish gourmet evening meals. On this floor you will also find one of the double bedrooms and the ski room for easily accessing your boots and skis each day, ready for the day ahead.
The next level down is the gorgeous sitting area, where guests will enjoy après ski drinks taking in the incredible views of the valley through the floor to ceiling windows. Two double bedrooms with en suite facilities are also located on this floor.
The ground level is home to a relaxation area with a fabulous Turkish bath, soothing any tired limbs after a day of skiing and a TV room, which is perfect for younger members of the party looking to enjoy a movie or two. The final two bedrooms are located on this floor with a bunkroom sleeping two and a double en suite bedroom. A further two beds are located in the loft of the property, which usually proves popular with teenagers in the party or slightly older children who can easily handle the stairs. For the ultimate relaxation there is also an outdoor six person top-of-the-range hot tub, with amazing views. This is accessed from the lower floor.
