Overview
Chalet Serge has a wonderful home from home feeling. The Alverà family, owners of the Dolomiti Lodge, a traditional alpine hotel in the heart of the Ampezzo Dolomites, have lovingly created a traditional alpine chalet for guests to rent, with the added benefit of using many of the facilities of their beautiful hotel.
Chalet Serge has four bedrooms and is ideal for a family looking to immerse themselves in Italian hospitality and escape to a place of peace and tranquillity. The master bedroom has a king sized bed with a walk-in closet and an en suite bathroom with a shower. There are a further two bedrooms that can be made up as either twin or double beds, one having an en suite bathroom and the other being located in the attic, so quite a fun option for maybe children looking for a mountain lodge experience.
You won't struggle to find the communal space to socialise at Chalet Serge or indeed find a little nook to retreat and relax. There is a generous well equipped open plan kitchen and dining area, with a table that comfortably seats 12 people. Leading from the dining space you arrive into the lounge with a huge wrap around sofa that encompasses the room and draws everyone in to sit back and relax together. If that isn't enough there is an additional cinema room on the first floor which is often a perfect spot for the children to kick back with a movie.
Wellbeing is at the heart of this Italian lodge, and Chalet Serge doesn't disappoint with a Turkish bath, Finnish sauna and a Jacuzzi. You can also use the swimming pool and gym at the neighbouring Dolomiti Lodge hotel if you are feeling more energetic.
Nothing is too much trouble for the team at Chalet Serge, whether you would like to arrange a private chef for the week or a baby sitter for a night, so you can take the opportunity of seeing all that Cortina d'Ampezzo has to offer.
