Setting the scene
The Capra is a luxury five star superior alpine hotel, located close to the pedestrianised centre of Saas Fee and around five minutes' walk from the Hannig Gondola. Health and well-being are the focus here, echoed in the natural design and exceptional spa and wellness facilities available too. This elegant Swiss hotel is comprised of just 38 rooms and suites, each with a balcony, offering a more personal and relaxed feel throughout the property.
There is one restaurant in the hotel: The Brasserie, offering guests an honest, authentic cuisine providing regional and seasonal tasting menus to choose from.
The Peak Health Spa focuses on holistic wellness and regeneration; take time to de-stress and enjoy the excellent facilities available from the sauna, steam and salt therapy rooms to the swimming pools and well-equipped fitness room.
Rooms and Suites
There are 38 rooms and suites in total, consisting of:
Signature Double Rooms: approx. 25sqm with double bedroom, bathroom and balcony.
Signature Suites: approx. 45sqm with double bedroom, bathroom and separate living room.
Family Suites: approx. 55sqm with double bedroom, two bathrooms and separate living room with hidden bunk beds, comfortably sleeping a family of four.
Penthouse Suites: approx. 65sqm with double bedroom, two bathrooms and separate living room with double sofa bed and fireplace, comfortably sleeping a family of four.
All rooms have Nespresso coffee machines and minibar (soft drinks and beer are free of charge)
Spa and Wellness
The Peak Health Spa has three treatment rooms, a relaxation area, sauna, steam and salt therapy rooms, an indoor pool and outdoor hydrotherapy pool. There is also a fully-equipped fitness suite and yoga studio where classes are held with the in-house instructor, which is included in your room rate.
Dining and Après Ski
The Brasserie: Inspired by the farm-to-table philosophy, the Brasserie provides authentic and honest cuisine. This is also where the daily breakfast buffet is served.
The Wine Cellar: Available to hire privately for either intimate dining, wine tasting or special events, The Capra's expertly-crafted wine list focuses on the best local wines from the Valais, as well as a select few vintages from further afield. During winter there are special events with Fondue and Raclette
