Overview
Penthouse Carmen is a superbly situated duplex attic apartment in a chalet which is perched on a hilltop. In winter, this is also the endpoint of the main resort ski run, making Penthouse Carmen one of the rare properties in Zermatt where you can almost ski back to your door. The church square with it′s boutiques and restaurants is just five minutes away in the other direction.
Penthouse Carmen features sloping wooden ceilings and extensive panelling, creating an authentic Alpine charm. The property offers four double bedrooms and three bathrooms (two en suite, one with a Jacuzzi bath). The high-ceiling living room includes a wood fire, and the open-plan kitchen flows into a dining and bar area. A mezzanine floor provides a second living space, and sunny south- and east-facing balconies offer stunning views down to the river. Three of the bedrooms can be arranged as doubles or twins, and the mezzanine has a sofa-bed for extra capacity. Carmen envelops her guests in a lovely, welcoming atmosphere, perfect for a memorable mountain escape.
Guests of the chalet can use a shared wellness area with a sauna and a hot tub.
