Overview
Chalet Harmony is a seven bedroom luxury ski chalet in Meribel, France. It offers a rare blend of luxury, privacy, and proximity to the slopes and centre, with its four fancily furnished floors nestled amongst the private Dou du Pont area, located just minutes away from the main ski lift and a similar distance to the shops and restaurants. The chalet can accommodate up to 14 adults, with an additional bunk area attached to one of the bedrooms providing extra bedding for children if necessary. There are only a handful of chalets in Meribel that can compete with this capacity.
The aesthetic could be described as contemporary alpine, as large windows ensure the warm, neutral tones of Harmony's interior are bathed in light, further emphasising the sense of nature and tranquillity brought about by the wood, stone, and wool furnishings. The feeling that the chalet has been designed specifically to enable relaxation at every turn is inescapable, and is reaffirmed by the state-of-the-art TVs and Sonos sound systems that can be found throughout. Nothing, however, could be more relaxing than the exceptional wellness area. Located on the first floor, it features a swimming pool, hot tub, sauna, and steam room, as well as the far-less-relaxing fitness room. A superb cinema room, with tiered seating, can also be found on this floor, along with three double bedrooms. Three more double bedrooms are located on the ground floor.
The spectacular living area sits on the second floor, with its layout set up specifically for optimum socialisation, and centred around an inviting log fire. The sitting room is the perfect setting for a glass of champagne and some canapés whilst the chef serves up a sumptuous supper in the nearby open kitchen. A gorgeous dining area, wine cellar, and games room (with billiards table and well-supplied minibar) also feature on this floor, which is surrounded by sun-soaked terraces. A large outdoor dining table provides an ideal spot for a morning cup of coffee whilst absorbing the mountain panoramas. The top floor is occupied exclusively by the elegant master bedroom, which comes equipped with a super-king bed, dressing room, private balcony, bath, and shower.
