Overview
Chalet Sarire offers 250sq.m of living space. It remains a very popular chalet year after year, with it's large open plan living room incorporating a large outdoor wooden deck. Sarire has five double/twin bedrooms arranged over four floors and will sleep ten adults; one of the bedrooms has an additional adult-sized bunk-bed that will sleep two more comfortably.
The main entrance is on the ground level where the heated ski room for the chalet is located with boot warmers. There are also two covered parking spaces. The main level of the chalet houses the living and dining space with a length of about 20m. The chalet has a minimalist feel, with the dining table even being sourced from Paris. The lounge has a couple of different seating areas in front of a lovely open fire and a iMac work station. Looking out on to the large deck there is a cedar wood hot tub for guests enjoyment.
The central wrought iron stairwell leads up to three bedrooms, one containing an extra adult sized bunk bed and a walk in wardrobe and bathroom. The other two bedrooms share a shower room and toilet. On the top floor, the mountains come more into view and you will find a large Master suite with ensuite bathroom and a smaller king or twin ensuite room with a large terrace and west facing view down to the main village. In total, there are four luxurious bathrooms which are filled with big fluffy towels and exclusive toiletries so that you can completely relax at the end of the day - three of these contain full sized deep bath tubs and the fourth has a monsoon shower.
Located in a very quiet and beautiful area of Val d'Isere called Le Fornet, it offers great views up the valley as well as down to Bellevarde with impressive vistas of the Le Face downhill run which is often lit up at night. Nestled next to a larch forest there is a huge deck with the perfect space for children to play safely and you can ski back to the chalet by leaving the blue Mangard, and black Foret runs. Le Fornet is thought of as the prettiest area of Val d'Isere and is also the highest. In two quick lifts, guests will find gently sloping glacier skiing with unrivalled snow at 3,300m, whilst avoiding the often busy central lift station.
