Setting the scene
Rated as one of the top Ryokan in Japan, Zaborin beautifully combines contemporary and traditional Japanese luxury. Traditional Japanese inns are destination experiences that include an elaborate evening meal and focus on the restorative benefits of bathing in an onsen (hot spring), Zaborin is no exception. Zaborin is located in the woods beyond Hanazono, a 10 minute drive from the Hanazono quad lift and 20 – 30 minutes from Grand Hirafu village and so makes a fantastic retreat from the hustle of Niseko for a unique, truly Japanese experience.
Rooms and Suites
All the villas at Zaborin offer plenty of space with a living area and two private hot spring baths – one indoor and one covered open-air onsen – with the choice of either traditional Japanese style futon bedding or western beds. These refined suites emphasise the connection to nature through floor to ceiling windows linking you to the peaceful woodland setting.
Spa and Wellness
The private onsen in each villa are fed by natural hot spring, volcanic waters from the ryokan's private spring. Soak in the rejuvenating whilst surrounded by peaceful pine forest for the ultimate post ski relaxation.
Dining and Après Ski
Zaborin’s dining experience includes Yoshihiro Seno’s award-winning multi-course ‘kita kaiseki’ which focuses on fresh, seasonal and local produce beautifully presented and enhanced by their simplicity.
