Tucked away in a tranquil area of Montriond, surrounded by pine forest and overlooking the nearby river, Chalet Riviere makes the perfect base for a relaxing holiday to the mountains. Just a 10 minute drive from the Ardent ski lift, or a six minute drive to the centre of Morzine, the chalet is close enough to get onto the slopes, yet also far away from the hustle and bustle of resort life so that you have a calm place to return to after a long day of skiing. The nearest bars, restaurants and shops are a short 10 minute stroll away though if you do want to experience all that Morzine has to offer.
Comfortably sleeping up to 13 guests across five spacious bedrooms, Chalet Riviere has been designed in an Alpine chic style with elegant wooden beams and beautiful furnishings throughout. As you walk into the chalet, there is a laundry room and a ski room on the ground floor, as well as an outdoor hot tub on the terrace with stunning views of the surrounding forest and river. You'll also find two en suite bedrooms on the ground floor, both with doors leading out on to the terrace.
On the first floor, the chalet's spacious living room welcomes you with its roaring fire and comfortable sofas, whilst the fully equipped kitchen with dining table is the perfect place to enjoy a delicious breakfast, lunch or dinner. There are two further bedrooms on this floor, both with en suite bathrooms and balconies with forest views.
Finally, the top floor of Chalet Riviere is home to the master bedroom which offers views of the river below and has a lavish en suite bathroom comprising of a shower, roll top bath and his and her sinks. There is also a large snug on the mezzanine level, complete with spacious sitting area, table and chairs and a television, a fantastic spot for reading a book or watching a film before bed.
