Marcus Roberts is a ski sales specialist at Oxford Ski Company, helping clients find exceptional ski properties and experiences across the Alps.

With almost 20 years of skiing experience, including two winter seasons living and working in La Plagne, Marcus brings first-hand resort knowledge to the holidays he recommends. Before joining the luxury ski travel industry, Marcus also spent five years crewing superyachts around the world, developing an understanding of the service, attention to detail and high standards expected within luxury travel.

Which ski resorts does Marcus recommend?

Lech, Austria is one of Marcus’s favourite ski resorts, combining excellent skiing with traditional Alpine character, outstanding hospitality and some of the finest luxury chalets in Austria.

Verbier, Switzerland is another personal favourite, particularly for its extensive ski area, challenging terrain and lively mountain atmosphere.

Having spent two full winter seasons in La Plagne, Marcus also has first-hand knowledge of the resort and its skiing, restaurants and mountain experiences.

For a memorable mountain lunch, Marcus recommends La Bergerie in La Plagne. Having spent two seasons in the resort, it remains a personal favourite for combining a relaxed Alpine lunch with superb mountain views.
