Overview
The ground floor of Chalet Shalimar is home to the charming Chalet Elena. The property is in the Winkematten area of Zermatt, only a 15 minute walk from the town centre. The closest gondola is only a 10 minute walk away. For the more advanced skiers, there is off-piste access back to the chalet (snow permitting).
The spacious open plan living and dining room is the perfect place to relax with friends and family after a long day skiing. The room opens out onto the terrace via the floor to ceiling sliding doors where you can admire the dramatic views of the Matterhorn. There are four bedrooms, all en suite with separate showers.
On the lower ground floor of Chalet Shalimar you will find the shared spa area. There is an indoor swimming pool, sauna, hammam and massage room shared with Chalet Alex which is situated on the top two floors of the building.
For larger groups, book alongside Chalet Alex to take the whole of Chalet Shalimar exclusively to sleep up to 20 guests.
